Planned maintenance will take place on a subset of Planet Card-Present terminals between 1 September 2026 and 30 September 2026.
What is scheduled to happen:
We will deploy a compliance-driven terminal configuration update to remove legacy and expired EMV keys. This helps terminals continue to operate in line with current security and scheme requirements. The update will be rolled out in controlled batches across the scheduled maintenance window.
What this means for you:
Terminals will automatically receive the updated configuration during their normal connection cycles. Updates will be applied progressively in controlled batches over the maintenance period. No action is required from you and no impact is expected to transaction processing, settlement, or customer data.
Rollback plan: If any terminals experience issues during the update process, a rollback plan is in place to restore terminal configurations and support continued operation. As this is a compliance-driven change, legacy and expired EMV keys will not be reinstated; however, remediation steps are in place to support terminals should any update issues be identified.
Monitoring and assurance: Our teams will actively monitor the progress of this maintenance throughout the rollout period. Any anomalies identified during the update process will be promptly reviewed and addressed so terminals continue to operate as expected.
