Downtime and Impact: QNB will be performing scheduled Disaster Recovery (DR) failover and failback testing as part of their resilience and business continuity activities.
No downtime or service impact is expected during these activities. This maintenance relates to Planet's connection with the third-party acquirer (QNB) and applies only to transactions processed via this integration. Customers using other acquiring routes are not affected.
The planned activities are scheduled for: 09 October 2026, 23:30 UTC (10 October 2026, 02:30 GST) – DR Failover 16 October 2026, 23:30 UTC (17 October 2026, 02:30 GST) – DR Failback
Rollback Plan: In the unlikely event that any issues are encountered during either activity that cannot be resolved, rollback procedures are in place with the third-party provider to restore normal service and ensure platform stability.
Please note that, as these activities take place across two separate maintenance windows, this maintenance notification may be marked as completed on the Status Page between the scheduled events. The second activity will still proceed as planned on 17 October 2026.
