Dear Valued Customer,
We wish to inform you that the Planet Team will be performing scheduled migration maintenance on our Planet Gateway Network on Monday, 14 April 2025.
Maintenance Reference: PSM-197794
Duration: 4 hours
Maintenance Type: Network Migration of our US hosted Gateway from legacy Planet Datacenter to our new Planet Datacenter facility.
Application Downtime and Impact: There will be a 30-minute downtime from (19:30 – 20:00 ET) due to the migration of the network gateway to the new datacenter. This transition is scheduled during off-peak hours to minimize the impact on our customers.
Rollback Plan: In the unlikely event that we encounter any issues during these changes that cannot be resolved, we have rollback plans to ensure our platform’s safety and stability. Our team is prepared to implement the rollback swiftly to minimize any prolonged disruption.
Why is this Maintenance Necessary? This maintenance is essential for enhancing the performance and reliability of the Planet Gateway Network. The migration to a new data center will improve our system's capacity and resilience, ultimately benefiting our customers.
